Parenting Across Race: A Workshop for White Parents

DESCRIPTION

Parenting Across Race (PAR) is a virtual workshop for white parents who are raising children of color. This workshop is for parents at various points of their anti-racist parenting journey. PAR focuses on race as a social construct, intersectionality, child development and how to talk to child(ren) about race, allyship VS co-conspiratorship, building accountability practices, and forming communities of support.

This workshop consists of 9 virtual meet-ups over the course of 15 weeks. Each meet-up consists of a somatic grounding, reflection on course materials, group discussion, and practicing conversational skills vital to this work. Light "homework" is assigned for each meet-up.

Space is limited and given on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Registration is not complete until you have received a confirmation email from a facilitator with payment instructions & your payment has been received.
